Assault Architecture 2025

The season changes. It’s getting colder at night, and buildings casting longer shadows. As dawn breaks under the fog, our city begins to transform. Assault Architecture is our yearly broken beat, dark industrial, and industrial techno playlist. Looming and monochrome, dark and abstract; an unfolding industrial cityscape of kinetic broken beat and mechanical techno.

The playlist begins with a selection of heavy industrial techno and broken beat. Massive mechanical percussion making its way around the warehouse district; slow, kinetic, heavy duty dancefloor sounds. Öspiel’s Underneath Is The Need For Power (feat. Simina Oprescu) turns the corner into dark industrial and a descent through sinister and shifting concrete landscapes. The tension increases, peaking around Pierre Berge-Cia’s Breathwork, and transitions into industrial breaks and IDM, before retreating back into the desolate city streets of a gritty cityscape of low fog and atmospheric ambient industrial.
